Cameron Baird and Jessica Peres

Peres-Baird. Jessica Sophia Peres, daughter of Linda Wong Peres and Richard Peres of Princeton, to Cameron Baird, son of Janene Baird of Visalia, Calif., on Saturday, September 6 at the Nassau Inn. The Honorable Susan Reisner, an Appellate Division judge with the Superior Court of New Jersey, officiated.

The couple met in Fresno, California, where they both currently reside.

Ms. Peres, 26, grew up in Princeton and attended Princeton High School and the Westminster Conservatory. She currently works as a television reporter with KFSN-TV, ABC News in Fresno, where she has covered the wildlife fires in the national forests, Gov. Schwarzenegger, and Rudolph Giuliani’s visits to the rural areas of Visalia. She has also reported from Washington, D.C. on federal funding for drought-stricken farmland. She graduated from Brandeis University with a major in music. Her father is the marketing manager for Macquet, Inc., in Bridgewater, a medical equipment company based in Germany. Her mother is a founding partner in the law firm of Wong Fleming, P.C. in Princeton.

Mr. Baird, 26, is president and CEO of CargoBarn, a logistics company in Fresno. He graduated from California State University, Fresno, with a degree in economics. His mother works at CargoBarn as vice president of sales.
