Town Talk

A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week:

“What do you think about the direction Princeton is heading in terms of use of public spaces?”

“I think that there should be more public spaces opened up for gatherings. The game tables in Palmer Square are nice. And the Hinds Plaza with all the tables and chairs and space for events is really great.”

David Chivers, Princeton

“Everyone loves the Hinds Plaza, just look; it’s used by all kinds of people.”

Ingrid Reed, Princeton

“I think that the Hinds Plaza is a great addition to downtown Princeton. It is a wonderful space. People can come sit and eat at the tables away from the traffic. The farmer’s market is a terrific event held here.”

Hope Colt, Princeton

“I think the spaces are very attractive, and in keeping with the Princeton architecture.”

Bayou Pan, Plainsboro

“I pass through Princeton once or twice a year, and find its public spaces downtown and along the lake make it a great place for walking, running, bike riding, and a wonderful place to live and work.”

Steve Early, Arlington, Mass.
