Jessica Sattler and Richard Crowley

Sattler-Crowley. Jessica Rose Sattler, daughter of Robin and Robert Sattler of Southwest Harbor, Maine, to Richard Magner Crowley, son of Patricia and Peter Crowley of Belle Mead. The October 10 ceremony took place on Bald Head Island, North Carolina, with the Rev. Bruce Meyer officiating in the island chapel.

The bride teaches art at the C.W. Stanford School in Hillsborough, North Carolina. She completed her master’s degree in teaching at the University of Maine.

Mr. Crowley, a graduate of Princeton Day School, is a graduate student in the Energy and Environment Program at the Nicholas School for Environmental Studies at Duke University.

The couple met while attending Colby College in Maine.

The bride’s attendant of honor was Maria Sanders, accompanied by her brothers Joe and Jake Sattler and friends Lauren Koches and Heather Auclair. The groom’s attendant of honor was Alana McGee, accompanied by Michael Crowley, Jim Mullaly standing in for his son Ryan, and friends Sean Skeehan and Sean Baron. Lauren Crowley and Abbie Hartfield were junior bridesmaids.

Mr. and Mrs. Crowley reside in Durham, N.C. They are planning a honeymoon in Ireland in the New Year.
