Mabel W. Ehlert

Mabel Whiteside Ehlert, of Skillman, died December 5. Sister of the late Mary Norman Whiteside and the late Frederick W. Whiteside, aunt of Katherine Whiteside Zalph, Louisville, Kentucky, and Margaret Whiteside Chen, Fairfax, Virginia, great aunt of Jeffrey Whiteside Chen and Rebecca E. Chen, she was born in Monticello, Arkansas. A Phi Beta Kappa 1939 Graduate of Randolph-Macon Women’s College and employee of Silver Burdette Publishing House, she was a longtime member of the Chatham Community and the Ogden Memorial Presbyterian Church. At the time of her death, she was residing at Stonebridge at Montgomery Presbyterian Community in Skillman.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ASPCA, or to the Minds On Educational Program of The Rensselaerville Institute or Randolph College.

A memorial service is scheduled at Stonebridge, December 15 at 2:30 p.m.
