Town Talk

A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week:

“Where are some of your favorite places to walk?”

Linda: “New York City, walking all over through the different neighborhoods.”

Sydney: “I like walking through Princeton University, looking at all the different architecture and people watching. It is fun to go to the fountain and see all the activity, like people relaxing and cooling off.”

— Linda Gecha with daughter Sydney, Princeton

“I live half of the year in the Cayman Islands. I like walking on Little Cayman Island especially on a beach called ‘Point of Sand.’ The sand and the ocean are really beautiful.”

— Dakota Kievman, Princeton

“I like downtown Princeton by the library plaza and Halo Pub. There aren’t many things going on on Nassau Street that are suitable for a kid.”

— Naveen Bahatia, Princeton

“In Princeton, my favorite walk is through Pettoranello Gardens. In Spain, a walk I love is called the ‘The Road to Santiago,’ a pilgrimage walk which is about 700 kilometers.”

— Beth Ann Berkmar, Princeton

“I live in Princeton and really enjoy walking. I love to walk down Nassau Street to Palmer Square and to the library with Benjamin.”

— David Kahn with son Benjamin who is a 5th generation Princetonian

“We like to walk around downtown Princeton and go to ‘Twist – Yogurt Without Limits.’ It is a nice homey place to hang out after walking around.”

— Alexa Segal (left) and Kristen Rienstra, Princeton
