Several Events Planned By Philadelphia Ballet

After showing off its new headquarters at an open house on September 19, Philadelphia Ballet will launch its new season at the Academy of Music starting with works by George Balanchine, Eliot Feld, and Jerome Robbins from October 8-11. A program titled “Dance at Great Velocity” follows October 15-18; George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker is December 4-31; Cinderella is March 4-14 and Don Quixote is April 29-May 9.

Following a gala benefit on September 17, the company opens its new home at 323 North Broad Street in Philadelphia on September 19 from 12-5 p.m. The family-friendly event will feature performances, building tours, interactive activities, and beginner-friendly dance classes for kids and adults.
