To the Editor:
Having served as president of the Princeton Board of Education, I find it disappointing, at best, and surprising, at least, that we are requiring an activity fee from our students. Of course we know that a family can ask for “consideration,” but that presents another bunch of issues.
Surely, we can figure out another way to fund this? With all due respect, isn’t this what public schools are supposed to do?
