To the Editor:
The Municipality of Princeton has approved the removal of a substantial number of trees on the property at 140 Hun Road — not a large lot in the Edgerstoune area — 1+ acre. It is now owned by the “Hun Road Trust.”
This approval was based on some type of unwritten understanding that the house on that property is to be razed and a new house built.
However no plans for the razing or the new house have been submitted to the Municipality.
Therefore the need to remove the substantial number of trees — or all/any of them, and which ones? — is/was not known in the deliberations of Municipality approving the removal.
Is this the way “we” want to proceed?
