On behalf of Morven Museum & Garden and the Historical Society of Princeton (HSP), we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported our second Princeton Garden Tour on Saturday, June 13.
This collaborative event was designed to celebrate the rich diversity of local landscaping and horticulture, showcasing a variety of approaches — from native species to exotics, water features, greenhouses, and historic estates. It was a true reflection of our community’s passion for the natural world.
The tour’s success was made possible by many dedicated people. We are deeply grateful to our Organizing Committee — Ashley Formento, David Schure, Grant Wagner, and Miles Franklin — as well as the generous homeowners who opened their gardens, and the volunteers whose time, talent, and enthusiasm helped create a truly memorable day. With an attendance of over 300 visitors, this year’s tour was a tremendous success — and none of it would have been possible without the homeowners who so generously opened their private gardens to the community. Their creativity, care, and hospitality were the true heart of the afternoon, and our guests left inspired, delighted, and deeply grateful for the experience.
As fellow stewards of Princeton’s rich history and as education-driven nonprofits, Morven and HSP are proud to collaborate on programs that reflect our shared mission. We feel fortunate to be part of such an engaged and generous community, and we warmly invite everyone to explore more of the work we do throughout the year.
