To the Editor:
As another school year draws to a close, we want to recognize the excellence of Principal Jason Burr at Princeton Middle School (PMS). Over the past five years, Principal Burr has brought PMS back from the unease of the pandemic to a place where students are growing inside and outside of the classroom. Principal Burr leads PMS with genuine enthusiasm and positivity, as he motivates students and teachers alike. He engages thoughtfully with parents, asking sincerely about approaches to make PMS even better. And during the inevitable challenging times, Principal Burr is a source of comfort for the school community, modeling compassion and understanding.
Most importantly, Principal Burr somehow connects with seemingly all of his 800 middle school students. This superpower ensures that when he speaks, the students listen. They may not heed his every word, but there is no question our children benefit from spending three years under his caring supervision. Our Princeton community is a better place thanks to Principal Burr’s leadership.
