Noting Jon Durbin’s Dedication to Increasing Local Public Engagement and Voter Turnout

To the Editor:

I write to express my support for Jon Durbin for Princeton Council. Jon has demonstrated his commitment to the community for decades, from youth sports to political organizing.

As voters make their decisions before the primary election on June 2, I want to emphasize a quality of Jon’s I particularly admire: his dedication to increasing local public engagement and voter turnout. This is clear in his extensive history of canvassing, his campaign pledge to knock on 1,000 doors, and advocacy for town hall discussions about local topics. I have also personally appreciated Jon’s proclivity for mentoring young people and encouraging their civic engagement.

Princeton voters can vote in-person on Election Day on Tuesday, June 2, early at the Municipal Building May 26-31, or by mail any time before Election Day (ballots have already gone out, and there is still time to apply for one at the County Clerk website).
