REICH EXHIBIT AT JEWISH CENTER: An exhibition of paintings by Naomi A. Reich is at the Jewish Center of Princeton through May 31. A reception is on May 15 at 5 p.m.

An exhibition of paintings by Naomi A. Reich (born 1921) is on view at the Jewish Center of Princeton, 435 Nassau Street, through May 31. The exhibition includes a selection of the artist’s Jewish-themed paintings and landscapes. Over 200 of her paintings can be viewed at her personal website at naomireich.com.

An opening reception is on Friday, May 15, at 5 p.m.

Reich started her painting journey at the age of 64, driven by a passion for creativity. Before that time, she spent over 30 years as a kindergarten teacher, which gave her a direct connection with art by children. She said, “Once I started my own painting, I developed my skills and created a diverse portfolio of artwork that came out of my imagination and my brushes.”

She painted at the Princeton Senior Center, under the guidance of Hannah Fink, who helped organize this exhibition.

Reich joined the Jewish Center of Princeton in 1956, when she moved to Princeton with her husband, Murray, and three children. She has lived in the same house for the past 70 years.
