Recognizing Contributions of Retiring Princeton Zoning Officer Derek Bridger

To the Editor:

Princeton has many fine public servants, none finer than Derek Bridger, the zoning officer. He is retiring after 24 years of helping Princeton grow.

Derek supported members of our community with a total attitude of wanting to help. He would try to find ways to make building projects fit the zoning rules, and he would help when people needed to apply for variances. He explained the rules and went the extra mile to make the process as painless as possible. He always did so in a friendly positive attitude. His expertise, knowledge, and personality will be missed!
