We are writing to express our strong support for Marina Rubina for Princeton Council.
Having had the opportunity to meet Marina personally, we were struck by her sincerity, thoughtfulness, and genuine commitment to serving the Princeton community. Just as importantly, her years of work and involvement in Princeton reflect a consistent dedication to civic engagement and local service. Through both her professional and community-based efforts, she has developed a strong understanding of the town’s needs, as well as the challenges and opportunities Princeton faces.
Princeton is at an important moment as it continues to balance growth with preserving its character. We believe Marina understands this balance well. Her approach to issues such as responsible development, thoughtful zoning, and maintaining the accessibility and livability of our town reflects both careful consideration and a forward-looking mindset.
We are also encouraged by her support for initiatives that strengthen community well-being, including broad access to services, transportation, and public resources. Her focus on practical solutions, informed by her experience working within the Princeton community, and her willingness to listen to residents from all backgrounds make her especially well-suited for this role.
We also want to note that, if successful in the June 2 primary, Marina is prepared to step away from her current work in Princeton to ensure that she can serve on Council without any conflict of interest. This thoughtful and proactive approach reflects her integrity and respect for the responsibilities of public office.
Just as importantly, Marina brings empathy, patience, and a collaborative spirit, qualities that are essential for effective local leadership. She is someone who not only understands policy, but also values people and community.
