To the Editor:
I feel lucky to live in a place like Princeton, where we have four strong candidates running for Council. I wanted to share why I believe Leanna Jahnke is someone we especially need right now.
I first met Leanna when she was working at Princeton University, and she immediately stood out. She has a way of looking holistically at whatever is in front of her — and then figuring out a clear, practical path forward. Both big ideas and all the little steps needed to realize them.
When you meet Leanna, you notice her warmth immediately. She is open hearted, generous, steady, and strong. She uses patience and focus to work toward thoughtful solutions that will benefit as many people as possible — in meaningful ways. She is intrepid, thoughtful, and genuinely wise in the way she approaches both people and problems.
She’s someone who would succeed anywhere. People respect her, and for good reason. But what I admire most is that she chooses to put her energy where it matters most — where she can be of real service to the community.
She listens carefully, thinks deeply, and speaks and acts with intention.
I’m proud to support Leanna Jahnke for Council, and I hope you’ll consider getting to know her as well.
