“FOOL’S GOLD”: This mixed media on linen work by Jean Childs Buzgo is featured in “Dreamscapes & Discoveries,” on view at the Silverman Gallery of Bucks County Impressionist Art in Holicong, Pa., April 11 through May 3. “Jean Childs Buzgo: Dreamscapes & Discoveries” opens on April 11 and continues through May 3 at the Silverman Gallery of Bucks County Impressionist Art in Holicong, Pa. The public is invited to the artist’s opening receptions on Saturday, April 11, from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday, April 12, from 1-4 p.m.

Showcasing new paintings by award-winning Bucks County artist Jean Childs Buzgo, the exhibition features a collection compiled over the last two years from her Yardley, Pa., home studio. Known for her varied and vivid palette and loose — almost abstract — brushwork the paintings range from landscapes to interpretations of city, garden, and still life images.

The Silverman Gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and by appointment It is located in Buckingham Green Shopping Center, 4920 York Road (Rt. 202), Holicong, Pa.
