To the Editor:
The snow is gone, the temperatures are up, and it is high time for the Municipal Engineering Department to take responsibility for cleaning up the horrendous mess that is Mt. Lucas Road (or at least to tell us why nothing is happening).
The abandoned, overflowing dumpster and large pieces of equipment (?) debris (? ) that have been left for months at the end of Stuart Road East also speak to the municipality’s laissez-faire attitude toward the public it supposedly serves.
Perhaps the current crop of candidates for Council would like to weigh in on this issue?
