The Old Barracks Museum is calling all young artists to showcase their creativity in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States. Students under 18 years of age are invited to participate in the museum’s first Youth Art Contest to commemorate this historic moment. Parents or guardians must complete the required submission paperwork, which can be found at barracks.org/old-barracks-youth-art-contest.

Age groups (judged separately) include: Elementary School, Grades 4-6; Middle School, Grades 7-8; and High School Grades 9–12. Prizes will be awarded in each age group.

All submitted artwork will be displayed at the Old Barracks Museum beginning on Trenton Barracks Founders Day on June 13 through July 4. The parents/guardians will be notified of the winners by June 5, and the winners will be publicly announced at Trenton Barracks Founders Day on June 13.
