“AUTUMN BLISS”: Denise Jill Marshall, whose work is shown here, will lead a Community Weave at the Kalmia Club in Lambertville on February 22 from 1 to 4 p.m., presented by the Wynter Gallery.
On Sunday, February 22 from 1 to 4 p.m., join Wynter Gallery for a Community Weave at The Kalmia Club, 39 York Street, Lambertville. Led by photographer Denise Jill Marshall, attendees will dive into the creative process that inspired her solo show, “Water.” Through conversation, demonstration, and guided exercises, you’ll learn directly from the artist about the intricacies of her creative practice, using her own work as a guide.
As part of the event, you’ll collaborate with fellow community members to craft a Community Weaving — a brand-new piece of one-of-a-kind art. This collective creation will later be displayed and auctioned, with proceeds benefiting Shad Fest, Lambertville’s celebration of art, food, music, and the spring shad migration.
This event is free and open to everyone — no prior art experience required. People of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels are encouraged to join. In joining the Community Weave, participants will become an integral part of the exhibition itself, contributing to a celebration of art, connection, and collective imagination. RSVP at wyntergallery.com.
“Water” is on view at the Wynter Gallery, 4 South Union Street, Second Floor, Lambertville through March 21. Gallery hours are Thursday through Friday 12 to 6 p.m. and Saturday 12 to 5 p.m. For more information, call (215) 900-0565 or visit wyntergallery.com.
