The Arts Council of Princeton (ACP) continues its popular ART OF series this winter and spring, offering a lineup of two-hour workshops that blend creativity, culture, and community connection. Designed as welcoming social experiences, the ART OF series invites participants to explore new ideas, practices, and traditions through hands-on learning and thoughtful conversation.
Curated by cultural connoisseurs and local experts, these all-inclusive events require no prior experience, supplies, or long-term commitment. Proceeds from the series directly support the ACP’s mission, helping to fund free, high-quality community events, exhibitions, and outreach programs throughout the year.
Winter/Spring 2026 ART OF schedule:
February 15: The ART OF Pairing Beer and Cheese. The ACP is teaming up with Triumph Brewery and Olsson’s Cheese Shop for a guided tasting that celebrates the creativity and craft behind each thoughtfully matched pairing. Attendees will also have the option to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the brewery to see where Triumph’s signature beers are made.
March 8: The ART OF Yoga Nidra + Sound Healing. Unwind deeply through a guided meditation experience paired with restorative sound therapy.
March 11: The ART OF Slow Stitching. Guided by Suzanne Rogalsky, participants will discover peacefulness as they repurpose scraps of fabric and threads to create items perfect for gifting or using themselves without the expectation of perfection.
March 12: The ART OF Matcha at Home. In collaboration with Ooika, this interactive (and tasty) workshop breaks down the art of making the perfect bowl of matcha or matcha latte at home. Learn how to whisk matcha smoothly without bitterness, understand which tools are truly essential, and gain confidence in choosing the right matcha, while connecting with fellow matcha enthusiasts along the way.
April 2: The ART OF Sugar: Science, Sculpture and Social Change. A part-lecture, part-live demonstration with edible artist Linda Khachadurian, where art, science, and social impact collide. Khachadurian will introduce participants to the basics of isomalt, a sugar derived from sugar beets, and explain why this glossy, durable material has become her medium of choice for sculptural work.
April 16: The ART OF Remembrance and Survival. Bernice Steinhardt, Executive director of Art & Remembrance, shares the story and artwork of her mother, Holocaust survivor Esther Nisenthal Krinitz, through a series of 36 hand-stitched embroidered panels created later in life, recounting her childhood under Nazi occupation with striking detail and artistry.
May 14: The ART OF Mixology. An opportunity to learn basic bartending skills and craft spring-themed cocktails while discovering the unique story of 3BR, a local craft distillery.
Whether exploring creative wellness, cultural traditions, or meaningful storytelling, the ART OF series offers the chance to learn, connect, and support the arts in Princeton.
