Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey (CPNJ) welcomes guest conductor Kenneth T. Bean for a chamber orchestra program that spotlights the dialogue between winds and strings — enhanced by a live visual-art element with live painting by Kathleen Hurley Liao. The paintings will be auctioned at CPNJ’s Annual Gala after the concert (tickets to Gala are sold separately).

The March 1, 4 p.m. concert in the ballroom of Patriots Theater at the War Memorial in Trenton includes works by Mozart, Benjamin Britten, Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw, and Bohuslav Martinu.
