Call for Art: Annual Juried Phillips’ Mill Photo Exhibit

“NUMBER 40”: This image by Harold Stetson won Best In Show at the 2025 “Phillips’ Mill Photographic Exhibition.” This year’s show runs March 29 through April 17 at Phillips’ Mill in New Hope, Pa.

The 33rd annual juried “Phillips’ Mill Photographic Exhibition” is accepting submissions from January 25 to February 15. This show continues a celebrated tradition of showcasing fine-art photography from the local region and beyond. The exhibition will be on view at the historic Phillips’ Mill from March 29 through April 17.

Photographers are encouraged to submit a selection of work in any photographic medium, from historic to digital, that best represents their creative expression. An entry may be images from a single body of work or a more diverse group of images. In the spirit of the exhibition, submitted work must be or must contain a photograph, and can include composite images, but must not contain AI-generated images as content.

A panel of three distinguished jurors — Dewitt Jones, Frank T. Smith, and Sara Ascalon — will select images for the exhibition in accordance with the theme followed since the show’s inception in 1991, “Photography as Art and Photographer as Artist.”

All work must be submitted online via Smarter Entry between January 25 and February 15 at client.smarterentry.com/PMPE. The complete Call for Art outlining all pertinent details can be found on phillipsmill.org.
