SESTINA, FIRST STANZA”: This work by Alice Sims-Gunzenhauser is part of “Boundaries and Their Dissolution,” her solo exhibition on view on Fridays at the Present Day Club through February 13.
“Boundaries and Their Dissolution,” a solo art show by Alice Sims-Gunzenhauser, is on view at the Present Day Club, 72 Stockton Street, through February 13.
“Boundaries and Their Dissolution” shows a range of expressive prints and drawings that create evocative images through experimental approaches and combinations of media. Sims-Gunzenhauser reconciles elements that don’t initially seem to go together: images torn into pieces, bold passages against more subtle areas. Some works also include the artist’s text for an additional layer of interaction.
Public viewings are on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. through February 13, or call Skye Meau to make an appointment at (609) 924-1014.
