On Saturday, December 6 at 2 p.m., Solebury, Pa., actress Linda Kenyon will portray Eleanor Roosevelt in “A Life of My Own: Meeting Eleanor Roosevelt” at Phillips’ Mill, 2619 River Road in New Hope, Pa.

The performance focuses on the first lady’s journey as an ambassador for peace and justice.

According to Roosevelt’s granddaughter Ellie Seagraves, “Linda has the voice, gestures, warmth and engaging personal touches of ER. What Linda does with this role is the best I’ve seen or heard any place.”

In 2024, Kenyon’s one-woman-show at the Mill portraying Julia Child, Bon Appetit, was a complete sellout. Admission to the December 6 show is $20 for Mill members; $25 for other guests. The event includes a reception after the show. For more information and to purchase tickets visit phillipsmill.org.
