To the Editor:
The 10th Annual Festival Cultural Latino lit up Princeton on Sunday, September 28 at Hinds Plaza and Palmer Square in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! This milestone event was a vibrant showcase of Latin American culture, bringing together music, dance, art, and community in a joyful celebration that simply would not have been possible without the incredible support of so many partners and friends.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to the Princeton Public Library, our steadfast partner since the festival’s early years. Their generous financial support, staffing, and logistical coordination were crucial to making the day run seamlessly. Their ongoing partnership has been a cornerstone of the festival’s success.
We are also deeply grateful to the Princeton University Art Museum for their generous financial contribution every year, as well as McCarter Theatre Center, the Arts Council of Princeton, and specially to Palmer Square for their generous support and collaboration. Special thanks to Latino Princetonians for their beautiful face painting and to Lake Smithfield Studios for their expert sound work, which brought every performance to life.
On a personal note, I want to thank my family for their unwavering support over the last 10 years — I couldn’t have done this without them.
And to all the talented performers, local artisans, vendors, community nonprofits, and the many families and friends who joined us, thank you for filling the festival with energy, passion, and joy. Your presence is the heart of this celebration.
Celebrating 10 years of community, culture, and creativity, we look forward to continuing this beloved tradition for many years to come!
