AMAZING PUMPKIN CARVE: The Hopewell Valley Arts Council will host its 11th Annual Amazing Pumpkin Carve October 9 to 12 in Woolsey Park, 221 Washington Crossing Pennington Road.
The Hopewell Valley Arts Council invites the community to celebrate a decade-plus of fall fun at the 11th Annual Amazing Pumpkin Carve, returning to Woolsey Park, October 9 to 12.
Under the glow of a big top tent, 30 massive, 150-pound pumpkins will be transformed by local artists into works of art — whimsical, spooky, and everything in between. Rain or shine, visitors can stroll through the tent to see the displays, making the event a perfect autumn outing for families, friends, and neighbors.
“The Carve has become a beloved tradition, and this year promises to be our most exciting yet,” said Carol Lipson, executive director of the Hopewell Valley Arts Council. “It’s more than just pumpkin art — it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and the joy of fall.”
New this year, guests can sip local brews in the beer garden while enjoying live music at the Woolsey Park bandshell (Friday–Sunday, weather permitting). The festival also features a hay bale play area, pumpkin painting for kids, and storytelling by the firepits.
The Amazing Pumpkin Carve is made possible thanks to sponsors including Capital Health, Princeton Financial Partners/RBC, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Hopewell Crossing Shopping Center, Lennar, The Bank of Princeton, and many more. This support helps fund the Arts Council’s ongoing arts programs throughout the year.
Event hours are Thursday, October 9, 7 to 9 p.m.; Friday, October 10, 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, October 11, 12 to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, October 12, 12 to 7 p.m.
Tickets are available online and at the gate. For tickets, food vendors, entertainment schedules, and the full list of sponsors and carvers, visit hvartscouncil.org/amazingpumpkincarve.
