Extending Thanks to All Who Supported The inaugural Princeton Garden Tour

To the Editor:

On behalf of Morven Museum & Garden and the Historical Society of Princeton (HSP), we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported our inaugural Princeton Garden Tour on Saturday, September 13.

This collaborative event was designed to celebrate the rich diversity of local landscaping and horticulture, showcasing a variety of approaches — from native species to exotics, rain gardens to water features, and school gardens to historic estates. It was a true reflection of our community’s passion for the natural world.

The Tour’s success was made possible by many dedicated people. We are incredibly grateful to our Organizing Committee — Ashley Formento, David Schure, and Grant Wagner — as well as the multiple volunteers who gave their time and talent. Our sincere thanks also go to our generous sponsors: Blue Sky Green Earth, Gale Nurseries, Kiefer Landscaping, and Ronni Hock Garden & Landscape.

We are profoundly thankful to the private homeowners who so graciously opened their spectacular properties to our guests. Their creative visions were the heart of the afternoon. A special note of thanks also goes to the staff and volunteers at Drumthwacket for sharing their extensive knowledge and for the hard work they pour into maintaining their stunning grounds. We were so delighted to include them on the tour.

As fellow stewards of Princeton’s rich history and education-driven nonprofits, Morven and HSP are proud to collaborate on programs that highlight our shared mission. We feel lucky to be part of such an engaged and supportive community and invite everyone to explore more of the work we do.
