Alt Rock Festival Returns to Arts Council

ALTERNATIVE ROCK: Crowds gather for Four on the Floor, Princeton’s homegrown alt-rock festival featuring over three hours of live music by emerging artists.

Four on the Floor, Princeton’s first and only alternative-rock music festival, is back at the Arts Council of Princeton on Saturday, October 18 from 6-9 p.m. Founded in 2023 by local musician Jedd Lopez, this one-of-a-kind, musician-run festival celebrates the power of emerging alt-rock talent with more than three hours of high-energy, live performances.

Created by artists, for artists, Four on the Floor is dedicated to uplifting the next wave of talent while building community through music. The festival partners with the Arts Council of Princeton (ACP), with 100% of proceeds supporting ACP’s mission to make art accessible to all. From public art installations to youth programs and exhibitions, tickets help fund creative experiences for the entire community. Since its inception, Four on the Floor Fest has raised over $2,000 for ACP’s programs, helping to provide art supplies, fund events, and support the next generation of creatives.
This year’s lineup includes bands Giant Inflatable Dog, Cherry Blossoms, Bomber Jacket, and The Plebs.

“Four on the Floor was created with the intention of bringing live music to the town of Princeton while simultaneously supporting the arts programs and events that the Arts Council hosts,” said Lopez. “Artists and musicians simply want a creative space where they can perform and express themselves freely. Now in its third year, Four on the Floor aims to inspire and attract alt-rock musicians to share their talent and energy with our community. If you are a fan of live local music, we hope to see you there October 18.”
