Actor, writer, and producer Jeremiah James will emcee “An Enchanted Evening,” the annual gala for Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, on September 7 at New Hope’s Hotel du Village.
James was one of the youngest performers ever to be nominated for a Los Angeles Theater Ovation Award for Best Lead Actor in a Musical, for his role as Bobby Child in Crazy for You. In the U.K., he’s appeared as Curly in the Cameron Mackintosh revival of Oklahoma! and as Billy Bigelow in the pre-West End tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel. Off-Broadway, he starred in the long-running musical The Fantasticks and in the new musical Sweetee.
James is also a show conceiver, co-writer, and director of his latest project The Last Match: A Pro Wrestling Rock Experience, which will have a Las Vegas residency in the near future.
Music Mountain Theatre is a nonprofit community theatre that presents about 30 adult and youth shows every year, and teaches workshops and summer camps to some 50,000 adults and children from Hunterdon, Mercer, and Bucks counties each year.
The gala event includes dinner, dancing, and live entertainment. Call (609) 397-3337 for tickets and more information.
