Annual Spring Formal in “Casablanca” Helped by Hard Work from Many

To the Editor:

Princeton Special Sports and the Princeton Recreation Department welcomed close to 100 attendees at the 11th Annual Spring Formal in “Casablanca” for adults and teens with special needs on May 3.

Our DJ Steven Knox aka DJ Redline, and our photographer Jaime Escarpeta, were awesome! McCaffrey’s menu was fantastic as always, and PSS parent Ashley Oppenheimer-Fink’s desserts were the perfect ending to an already sweet evening!

Thank you so much to the adults whose hard work made this special evening possible: Abitha Ravichander, Chiemi York, Eileen Donahue, Hana Oresky, Joan Morelli, Joey Rogers, Katerina Bubnovsky, Nicole Paulucci, Stacie Ryan, Sandy Smith, Stephanie Corrado, Tom Kreutz, Valerie Walker, Wendy Richmond, and Zach Bohn. But it was our student volunteers who really made the evening sing! Thank you to Emma Lips, Emilyanne Shelley, Jane Lillard, Gracie Poston, and Sofia DeCruz from Princeton High School; Lizzie Dawson from Princeton Day School; Zach Klein from Notre Dame High School; Olivia Browndorf from West Windsor Plainsboro-North High School; and especially to our graduating seniors Charlotte Walker (PHS), Declan Rourke and Gwen Allen (PDS), and Rhea Ravichander (South Brunswick High School)! I hope you know how much we appreciate you all.

Our last dance of the season will be our annual pool party and dance at the Princeton Community Pool on May 31. Swimming will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. (weather permitting), followed by a pizza party and dancing. For more information or to register, go to princetonrecreation.com or princetonspecialsports.com.
