Dr. Eric Chivian, founder and director emeritus of the Harvard Medical School’s Center for Health and the Global Environment, will be the keynote speaker at the 19th annual New Jersey Land Conservation Conference Friday, March 6, at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, 1 W. Lafayette Street, Trenton. Mr. Chivian will explore the connection between preserved land and wellness. It is not known whether he will be accompanied by his green companion shown here. This year’s conference will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with 24 workshops geared toward professionals and volunteers in New Jersey’s land conservation community. Tickets, which include continental breakfast, full day of workshops, luncheon, and day’s-end social with door prizes, are $95; $25, for students.
