A two-alarm fire in the first block of George Drive in Fieldwood Manors, off Cherry Valley Road, was answered by firefighters from Princeton and Montgomery and as far away as Plainsboro, West Windsor, Lawrence, and South Brunswick early Saturday afternoon, July 27. According to the Princeton Police Department, Princeton building inspectors deemed the home uninhabitable. The fire caused non-structural damage to the house next door. There were no injuries.
