The Princeton Area League of Women Voters will present Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (15th district) speaking on “Juvenile Justice: A Time for Change” on Wednesday, October 20, at 7 the Princeton Township Municipal Complex on 400 Witherspoon Street. The meeting is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

To highlight its current exhibit, “John F. Kennedy: From Old Nassau to the New Frontier,” Princeton University’s Seeley G. Mudd Manuscript Library will host a special Open House on Saturday, October 23, from 9 a.m. until noon. The exhibit, which is the first to feature objects from both major collections of the Mudd Library, the Princeton University Archives, and the 20th Century Public Policy Papers, includes objects, photographs, and documents created during Kennedy’s time as a Princeton student and throughout his political career. Highlights include his handwritten application to Princeton, a Jackie Onassis letter to Adlai Stevenson, and documents from the Warren Commission.

Families can have professional quality photographs taken at The Princeton Public Library on Sunday, October 24, at 1 p.m. The sitting fee of $25 (payable by cash or check) will be donated to the Princeton Public Library Foundation. The library will provide the atmosphere and photographers for making a memorable holiday photo card with a variety of props and backgrounds available for the various December holidays. Photos will be available for download within five days of the photo shoot. Once the photos are downloaded, there will be restrictions on their use.
