The introduction of the Borough Budget is tentatively scheduled for the open public Borough Council meeting on Tuesday, May 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Borough Hall.
The Mercer County Improvement Authority and Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes urge land owners in the county to “Cut It and Leave It,” instead of bagging grass clippings. Left-behind grass cuttings protect grass roots from the harsh sun and conserve moisture, helping to create a thicker, healthier lawn, and giving weed seeds less of a chance to germinate, they note.
