Princeton University lost $538,000 in state funding due to the recently signed state budget which cut state aid to colleges with an endowment exceeding $1 billion. With an estimated $11 billion overall, the University is the only school in the state whose endowment meets that criterion.

The Princeton Township Committee Monday unanimously approved a plan to install "Belgium block" curbing along Evergreen Circle, with 100 percent of the $13,338 installation cost shouldered by the residents. Under normal circumstances, the Township identifies areas for curb installation and subsequently assesses 50 percent of the cost to residents, but in this case, all but one resident along the stretch of Evergreen requested that curbing be installed. The cost will be distributed equally among participating residents.
