IT WON'T BE LONG: One of twelve new science laboratories under construction at Princeton High School, this physics lab includes a prep room and a special projects room where students can conduct long-term experiments without having to dismantle their work. Other labs are dedicated to chemistry, biology, and environmental sciences, the latter with a rooftop greenhouse for horticulture/earth science.

Fall Completion Date Expected for PHS Labs, Gym, Arts Center

Anne Burns, president of the Princeton Regional Board of Education, reported last Saturday that while much progress has been made in construction at Princeton High School, the new facilities will not be in use until the fall semester. The Board of Education Facilities Committee had met on Friday to review progress, which has been hampered by recent flooding.

Tusculum Owners to Sell Part of Property, Saving 35 Acres from Development

Princeton Township Committee Monday night introduced a bond ordinance, that, if approved February 6, will purchase a sizable chunk of the former John Witherspoon estate, "Tusculum," to be preserved for open space.

With Rising Threats in Middle East, Clinton Calls for Sanctions on Iran

Warning that a "nuclear Iran" would pose a threat to Israel and the Middle East in general, U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-New York) said last Wednesday that the United States should encourage the demolition of nuclear weapons. She also urged U.N. sanctions toward Iran.
