Heather Lee and Dan Matthies
Lee-Matthies. Heather Lee, daughter of JoAnn Galant of Rocklin, Calif. and Peter Lee of Granite Bay, Calif., to Dan Matthies, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Matthies of Princeton.
The bride-to-be graduated from Oak Ridge High School in California and the University of California at Berkeley with a major in contemporary English literature. She later completed her master's degree in elementary education at National University. She currently teaches at the SKOLA International Community School in London.
The groom-to-be graduated from Princeton High School and then from Trenton State College as a finance major. He received his CFA designation and is currently employed by Bloomberg London developing a hedge fund product. He is also enrolled in the Executive MBA program of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
A July 2007 wedding in California is planned.
Matthies-Andress. Holly Matthies, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Matthies of Princeton, to Sage Andress, son of Karen and Noel Andress of Pine Island, Fla.
Ms. Matthies attended Princeton High School and then received degrees in early childhood education and elementary education from Florida Southern College. She later received her master's degree in speech-language pathology from the University of South Florida. She currently works for Beth Ingram and Associates, a private practice in Tampa.
Mr. Andress attended Mariner High School and received his B.S. degree in technical writing from the University of South Florida. He is a real estate agent specializing in investments and land acquisition in Florida.
The couple will be married on October 7 in St. Petersburg, Fla.
