The Princeton-based Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) has filled five chartered buses to take supporters from central/southern New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania to Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, January 20, for the inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States. Three buses have been reserved to leave from the Princeton area, along with one each from Pleasantville and Cherry Hill.

While confirmed reservations are no longer available, those who are still interested in going can add their names to a waiting list by emailing CFPA Associate Director Ward Wilson at wwilson@peacecoalition.org. If there is enough demand, CFPA will try to reserve additional buses. Otherwise, seats will be offered to those on the waiting list on a first-come, first-seated basis. Seats are $50 per person for CFPA members, and $65 per seat for non-members. Those who are not yet CFPA members can become members by clicking the “donate” button at www.peacecoalition.org. The price includes a Metro pass to get from the bus drop off point (tentatively RFK Stadium) to downtown Washington. While some details are still being worked out, tentative plans are available on the CFPA website.
