A dislocated shoulder stunted Tommy Davis' progress last spring in his freshman season with the Princeton University men's lacrosse team.

After missing six games, Davis returned in the postseason and showed a glimpse of his potential as he scored a total of five goals in two games to help Princeton advance to the NCAA quarterfinals.

PU Men's Hockey Posts Weekend Sweep; Will Host Brown in ECACHL Playoff Series

Kevin Westgarth and his senior classmates on the Princeton University men's ice hockey team entered last weekend determined to clinch home ice for the upcoming ECAC Hockey League (ECACHL) playoffs.

The Tigers needed a win or two ties from their games with visiting No. 6 Clarkson and No. 14 St. Lawrence to be sure of hosting an opening round series at Baker Rink for the first time since the 1998-99 season.

Umeda Has Come a Long Way In PU Women's Hoops Career

Elyse Umeda came some 5,000 miles in 2003 to play for the Princeton University women's basketball team.

Over the last four years, the Honolulu, Hawaii native has experienced a circuitous journey, suffering the lows of injuries and enjoying the high of an Ivy League title.

Last Saturday before Princeton's game with visiting Harvard, Umeda's trip took a special stop as she was honored with classmates Lillie Romeiser, Shelly Slemp, and team captain Casey Lockwood in the program's annual Senior Night.

PHS Girls' Swim Team Falls in Public B Finals but Displayed a Special Competitive Spirit

As Martha Ferguson got into the blocks for the 100 breaststroke race last Sunday in the NJSIAA Public B state championship meet, she knew that the Princeton High girls' team had no chance to overcome Haddonfield.

With Haddonfield needing just 8 points to clinch the title and two races to go, Ferguson could have gone on cruise control as that would not have impacted the meet's final outcome.

But senior star Ferguson wasn't about to give up the fight, competing hard to the last stroke at The College of New Jersey pool as she finished second with a time of 1:14:00.

Hun Boys' Hoops Outlasts Blair in 2 OTs to Win Prep A and Achieve Title Double

It is a title that Hun School boys' basketball head coach Jon Stone has been chasing for seven years and it required the patience of Job for him to get it accomplished.

After seeing his teams repeatedly go only as far as the Prep A semis, Hun edged St. Benedict's 51-46 last week in the prep Final Four to set up a title game clash at Blair Academy.
