U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (D-12) will host a public, town hall style meeting in Hopewell Township on Sunday, March 2 to talk with residents about issues affecting the community such as Social Security, economic development, hometown security, health care, education, and anything else that may be of interest to citizens. The meeting will be held Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Stony Brook Elementary School at 20 Stephenson Road in Hopewell Township. On Monday, March 3, Holt will hold a live telephone town hall meeting at 7:30 p.m. The telephone town hall is a new technique to hear from and talk with constituents in a format much like the format of a traditional public town hall setting. Mr. Holt held his first telephone town hall in Demember 2007. To guarantee entry, residents should call (866) 447-5149 and enter the pin number 13372.
