of the Week: "What
fallout and changes do you think may result from the "basketbrawl"
think the players who were involved in the brawl should be banned
from the league. There are certain rules and regulations that
should be abided by; and if there is inappropriate behavior, it
should not be tolerated, and hopefully everyone will learn from
it and move on."

will have to be changes. I think that everyone has to reflect
on what has happened. The fans have to take some responsibility
and should watch how the conduct themselves during the game. The
players will have to watch themselves regarding how they react
to the fans."
Travis Mussel, Walnut
know, in the sports world that is just what happens. The fans
are going to mess with the players, and they have to learn to
take it. I figure that fouls are going to happen, and if he cannot
take a little push, then maybe he should not be playing. I thought
it was amusing."
think it's disgusting that the players get carried away like that
and go into the stands that's an absolute no-no. The players
think that they are too big for their britches. Maybe the fine
was excessive, but it will carry a message, and the other guys
will think twice before doing something like that. On the other
hand, the fans have to be controlled, like the crack down years
ago in Palmer Stadium after people threw bottles at each other."

"I think that that the
penalties were correct though I think that the fans instigated
it. The players are in the spotlight, so they should have maintained
their composure and have backed off and let security handle it."
