Town Talk

A forum for Princeton residents to express opinions about local and national issues

Question of the Week:

“How have you been dealing with the summer heat?”

“Buying watermelon at the Princeton Farmer’s Market.”

Steve Hiltner, Princeton

Isabella: “Spending most of my time at the pool and going on picnics with my family in a really shady part of New Jersey and also, staying indoors.” Dorothy: “Trying to do things out of the heat because it’s really unbearable; it’s just so hot and humid. I haven’t been spending as much time outside as I normally would this summer.”

Isabella Deshmukh and Dorothy Weiss (left to right), Princeton

Tony: “Mostly indoors and driving around with the air conditioning on.” Aba: “I stay inside, I don’t go outside to play and I go to camp and swim.”

Tony, Koby and Aba Smith (left to right), Princeton

“I’ve been trying to avoid the heat this summer.”

James Murphy, Princeton

Jane: “I came from the Philippines and it’s hot there. But, it is too, too hot this summer! It’s uncomfortable in the bakery especially when it’s so hot outside.” Keith: “I take lots of showers, in the morning and at night. It gets hot working in the bakery.”

Keith Jimenez and Jane Delacruz, Witherspoon Bread Company, Princeton

“I stay inside miserable or I go outside miserable and then I leave for California in 309 days!”

Gina D’Adamo, Princeton
