Princeton voters roundly endorsed the Princeton Regional Schools $72 million 2006-2007 budget last night by a margin of 199, while electing Ridgeview Road resident Mia Cahill to the only contested seat on the School Board, according to results after polls closed at 9 p.m. last night.
Following a Princeton University presentation to the Princeton Township Committee outlining a future of denser, pedestrian-friendly campus development, the University announced Thursday that it had contracted with architect Renzo Piano to provide a neighborhood design for the University's campus along Alexander Street and a southern portion of University Place.
"Part II" of the redevelopment issue of areas left in the wake of Princeton HealthCare System's (PHCS) anticipated relocation of its University Medical Center at Princeton (UMCP) and Merwick Care Center to Plainsboro will continue this week with a discussion that is expected to encompass a wide array of possibilities concerning the development of one of Princeton Borough's last undeveloped tracts.
